I'm trying to figure out what to buy. my adviser told me to get a ti89 and it'll last me through my engineering program and i found one with the cable and hook ups for $75 or one without for $50. are the hook ups and disk useful enough to be worth it?

I can't even manage to put the ion or the mirageos program on my TI 84+
it keeps sending the message:
Errors occurred while sending {program name}. A distribution list, containing the device(s) which returned an error, was created for each file.
What do I do?

Have you tried playing all these through mirageos. First click on the program only to install it. It should happen automatically. Then go to mirageos in apps and click into the folder and click on the game and you should be able to play it
